- You should not be treated with Revolade® / Promacta® if you have myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS)
- The risk of getting a blood clot increases with Revolade® / Promacta® treatment
- Treatment with Revolade® / Promacta® may lead to new or worsened cataracts, tell your doctor if your eyesight is affected during treatment
- Before starting treatment, tell your doctor if you have liver or bleeding problems, history of cataracts or blood clots, a blood cancer, or had a splenectomy
- It’s not known if Revolade® / Promacta® can cause harm to unborn babies, patients should not get pregnant or breast feed while taking it
- Tell your doctor about any medicines or supplements you’re taking to avoid interactions, especially statins and anticoagulants
- Patients should avoid drugs and activities that may increase their risk of bleeding
