- Seek emergency medical help if you have severe stomach pain as Lenvima® has been linked with fistulas in some people
- Your doctor should monitor your blood pressure throughout treatment with Lenvima® as high blood pressure is a common side effect
- Contact your doctor right away if you experience heart problems as Lenvima® can cause serious heart problems that may be fatal
- Lenvima® may cause blood clots in arteries in some people, seek medical help right away if you experience severe pain, or shortness of breath, or numbness, or speech or vision problems
- Liver function tests (LFTs) should be performed before and throughout treatment as liver problems leading to liver failure may happen with Lenvima® treatment
- Regular blood tests to check your kidneys should be performed throughout treatment with Lenvima®
- Severe jaw bone problems have occured in some people during treatment with Lenvima®
- Treatment should be halted one week before any surgery due to potential wound healing problems caused by treatment with Lenvima®
- Lenvima® may cause serious bleeding problems that may be fatal, tell your doctor if you experience any type of bleeding during treatment
- It’s not known if Lenvima® is safe and effective in children
